YOUR YEAR 2010  MOON-SIGN GUIDE

"Where is the Moon?" is a question that the enlighted thinkers of all ages, regardless of Sun-Sign, have asked before coming to a decision or beginning a venture.  You, too, should use the wisdom of ancient lunar science.  The paragraphs which follow reveal the activities that can be pursued when the Moon occupies a certain sign and is favorably aspected.  The tables below indicate the Moon's position by sign for each day of  year 2010.  If two signs are given, it means that the day is influenced by both signs.  Study the legend before you use this guide.  If two letters are given for one sign, the first one applies for the first half of the day;  the second, to the rest of the day.  If two letters are given for two signs, the first one applies to the first sign for the first half of the day; the second, to the second sign for the rest of the day.  F=favorable; A=adverse; M=mixed.

Using Lunar Rhythms

Through understanding lunar cycles and synthronizing your activities with their rhythms, you can ensure a bountiful harvest of whatever you desire.  The Moon's cycle is divided into two important phases: the waxing Moon phase (the two-week period from New to Full Moon) and the waning Moon phase (the period between a full Moon and the subsequent New Moon).  While the waxing Moon period is best for taking on new projects and pursuing outer-directed activities, the waning Moon period is best for those activities that require reflection, creativity, and planning and for completing projects already begun.

Particularly potent days in the Moon's cycle are the dates of the New and Full Moons.  It is advisable to launch new projects just after the New Moon (preferably at around twenty-four hours after its occurrence); doing so can assure the project's longevity.  The Full Moon, in contrast, is more suited to inner pursuits, such as meditation, problem-solving, and creative reflection; it can be a time of great insight.

To maximize the potential of the New and Full Moon, be sure to take into account the sign that the Moon is passing through at its ocurrence, just as you do when using the Moon-Sign Guide.
