I have been a reader and a subscriber to "American Astrology" and "Dell Horoscope" magazines since my son, who is my only child, died of Leukemia at age of 8, in year of 1982.  Astrology has helped me understand my family and my own life.  The knowledge and understanding gained through the birth chart interpretation has helped me develop a great interest in spiritual things, attain inner peace, and deepen my compassion.

Astrology is an art of observing the positions and aspects of  the planets that influence human affairs. A birth chart, also called horoscope or natal chart,  is a map of the positions of the planets in the heavens at the exact time and place of a person's birth. The birth chart reveals a blueprint of the person's present karma (or fate) that can not be escaped, but its limitation and restriction can be minimized through exercising free will and developing spiritual life.

Study Astrology to learn how to analyze your birth chart, to discover what areas in your life need to be transformed to attain greater spiritual and psychological developments.  It also helps you  understand how the current planetary movements and Zodiacal influences affect  your life.  Look at  an astrological calendar to plan all the important events in your life in the coming year. 

Most of us have personal (inner & fast-moving) planets (The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) that are affected by one or more of the impersonal (outer & slow-moving) planets (Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto).  This is our human condition.  And, usually a planet makes several aspects to other planets. 

A favorable transit of Jupiter, the Greater Fortune, to the natal planets can be times when the opportunity knocks in your life.  Check an astrological calendar to determine when Jupiter will form conjunction or other favorable aspects with the planets in your birth chart.

Whenever Jupiter is activating your birth chart by transit, do not just sit back and wait for the good fortune to come in.  If you are willing to work a little harder, you will be rewarded in the area of your life that is affected by Jupiter's transit.   So, when you see a favorable Jupiter transit approaching, you prepare yourself for the best and work harder.  

Uranus brings change, disruption or shock.  Pluto  is about elimination  and emotional transformation. We need to look at the birth chart as a whole to find out which area of life will be affected by the coming unfavorable transit of any outer planets, such as Uranus and Pluto,  that will bring life changing events.  We have the free will.  Whether we are willing to make those changes is up to us. Understanding the birth chart of our loved ones, we will develop a greater compassion for them during their challenging situation.

However, some events are destined and inevitable.  But, understanding astrology we will be aware of and better prepare ourselves for the coming challenges to our lives and works.  We will not blame others for any undesirable and negative changes.  Through the spiritual development, we can minimize any obstacles and reduce the pains during the difficult times. 

Through the practice of "Open our heart to develop a greater compassion" and "Clear  our mind to  apply the wisdom within," we will be able to see the challenges and difficulties at a deep level, understand the true meaning of life crises.  Each life crisis is an opportunity to develop kindness and deeper level of wisdom energy in our lives, and such process also helps us cultivate a greater sense of inner peace. 

Astrology is a powerful predictive tool.  With the knowledge of astrology, there is power.  Our personal energies, health, feelings, and more are all affected by the positions and movements of the planets in the Zodiacal background day by day. 

So, learn  astrology and integrate Buddhist concepts like impermanence, interdependence, and the law of cause and effect  to help deal with any inevitable changes of  your life direction, enhance your spiritual life, and assure your desire future of peace and fulfillment.
